PROGRAM DETAILS:
1 FULL DAY: FULL-DAY PRIVATE TOUR TO IFRANE AND AZROU TRIP FROM FES
Our journey begins with a visit to downtown Ifrane, a pedestrian area adorned with charming bars, restaurants, and terraces, offering an ideal setting for a delightful meal.
Next, we’ll explore the Stone Lion monument, located just a short distance from the bustling streets. Carved by a German soldier during World War II, this monument pays tribute to the last lion of the Atlas Mountains.
We’ll then proceed to Al-Akhawayn University, established in 1995 through collaboration between King Hassan II of Morocco and King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. This prestigious university is known for its exclusivity, catering to the affluent. A stroll around its campus reveals why it’s considered a symbol of luxury education.
Although the Royal Palace is not open to visitors, we’ll drive around its exterior to admire its grandeur.
After exploring Ifrane, our journey continues to Azrou, where we’ll visit the cedar forest and encounter the Barbary apes (monkeys). We’ll have the opportunity to feed them peanuts and capture memorable photos.
Before returning to Fes in the late afternoon, we’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
